Petev was inducted into the Hall of fame of Litex

Product of PFC Litex Lovech Youth division, Petev gained a lot of experience during his professional career as player with the orange jersey. As a midfielder he managed to take part in 86 games in the Bulgarian “A” PFG and scored 15 goals. Petev won twice the Bulgarian championship (1998, 1999) and once the Bulgarian Cup (2001). After his retirement as a player he was inducted into the Hall of fame of Litex.
